Short Description
A quick, creamy Alfredo sauce tossed with linguine—an easy pasta dinner ready in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients
1 shallot, finely diced
4 teaspoons chopped garlic
4 teaspoons butter
1 pinch cracked black pepper
1 dash lemon juice
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
2 oz white wine
1 qt heavy cream
1 dash salt and pepper
2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
16 oz freshly cooked linguine
Preparation
Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the garlic in it. Incorporate the peppercorns into the garlic butter mixture and continue to sauté for an additional 2 minutes. Deglaze the pan with white wine and let it simmer until nearly all the liquid has evaporated.
Next, add a splash of lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce, and simmer for another 2 minutes over medium heat.
Pour in the cream and let it simmer until the sauce has reduced by half, then season to taste. Stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and combine. Toss the sauce with the fresh linguine and serve.
