Ingredients
8-6 oz boneless chicken breasts, grilled
4 bacon slices, cooked
1 large onion, sautéed
12 oz blue cheese, crumbled
salt and pepper
Sauce:
8 oz heavy cream
4 oz water
1 tablespoon chicken base
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
1 pinch salt and pepper
Slurry
Preparation
Season chicken with salt, pepper and oil and sear in a hot skillet—place in the oven for 20 minutes at 350℉. In the meantime, sauté the onions in oil until tender and bake the bacon until crisp. Once the chicken is done, top it with bacon and cheese. Put back in the oven and bake for another 5 minutes
Add the cream, water and chicken base to a saucepot and bring to a boil. Whisk in the mustard and then tighten with slurry, season with salt and pepper
Pull the chicken from the oven, plate, and sauce
