Ingredients
1 graham cracker crumb pie crust or 10 3-inch shells
12 oz cream cheese
5 oz sugar
2 eggs
1 ¼ teaspoons vanilla extract
5 oz sour cream
1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Set the oven to 325°F to preheat.
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler.
In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly. Gradually add the chocolate and mix well, then stir in the vanilla and sour cream.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust, and bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top of the cake jiggles evenly when gently shaken.
Allow it to cool on the counter, then refrigerate once sufficiently cooled.
