Short Description
Baked strata layered with ham, cheese, and bread for a comforting, savoury dish.

Ingredients
½ qt heavy cream
2 oz water, wash heavy cream container
12 eggs, whipped
3 cups of cheddar cheese
12 oz ham, diced
6 slices brioche bread
1 pinch salt and white pepper
Preparation
Prepare the wet mixture by whipping together cream, eggs, salt, and pepper.
Place the bread at the bottom of a greased eight-by-eight pan, sprinkle with half of the cheese, add the meat, and then cover with the remaining cheese.
Pour the mixture over the top, cover, and let it sit overnight for optimal results. Before cooking, remove the cover and bake at 350°F for 50 minutes or until set.
