Mac and Cheese with Macaroni Noddles

Ingredients

3 cups macaroni, cooked and drained

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup water

2 ¾ teaspoons creole Mustard

½ oz chicken base

1 pinch salt and pepper

3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Slurry

Preparation

In a stockpot, cook pasta in salted water, drain and rinse


In a saucepan, bring the cream, base, and mustard to boil


Once boiling, thicken with a slurry to coat the back of a spoon, turn the heat down and simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the cheddar cheese


Place the cooked noodles in a bowl and mix the cheese sauce


Season to taste, place in a baking dish, and bake at 350° F for 30 minutes or until bubbly
