Walka about and Lunch at Rusty Bull
We couldn't have wished for better weather in Charleston. The evenings were cool, and the days were sunny and warm, with clear skies. It was an ideal day for strolling along the main strip in Charleston. Our BnB was located just a few blocks west of downtown.
We donned our walking shoes and made our way downtown to explore the sights. It was more crowded than expected, as a cruise ship had just arrived. That was alright; we proceeded down the street to the market first to browse the vendors. There was nothing essential, mostly catering to tourists. We then turned around and walked back up to King Street.
There were some lovely shops along the route, including one called Charleston Place. It was beautifully adorned with Christmas decorations, featuring a train running through the central foyer, life-sized nutcrackers, and some attractive spots for lunch. However, due to the high number of tourists, we decided to leave the area and headed to a Brew Pub, the Rusty Bull.
We had a late lunch accompanied by a few beers before beginning our journey home. Along the way, we discovered a pleasant cigar shop where Scott & Alison could buy some cigars for our afternoon relaxation on the patio with a Bourbon once we got home.
Cheers from Alevia's Kitchen @3ish Acres.
