About the Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

4 tablespoons sugar

4 egg yolks

1 ⅓ teaspoons vanilla extract


Topping:

½ cup white sugar

Preparation

Add the cream and sugar to a saucepan and slowly boil. In a bowl, place the egg yolks and whip until light. When the cream has reached a slow boil, and the sugar is dissolved, remove it from the heat


Slowly add the cream to the egg, whisking until all the cream is blended with the eggs. Add the vanilla and portion into six ramekins. Place in a Bain Marie and bake at 300°F for 35 minutes or until set


Let cool in the pan after it comes out of the oven and place in the fridge
